You will be accountable for markets' IBP forecast planning excellence. Proactively coordinating information and resolution with cross functions, to ensure the planning consistency and business target delivery. Understanding customers and consumers trends, market volatility, product offtake and consequently provide an accurate forecast across the horizon.
How you will contribute
You will:
• Develop a robust and sound demand plan across 12-24 months horizon
• Use fact-based historical data and statistical analysis to provide a best estimate base forecast throughout the horizon
• Understand, contribute, and challenge building block assumptions which contribute to the overall forecast quality of the category/ies
• Act as the gatekeeper of forecast plan accuracy and drives the continuous improvement
• Perform root-cause analysis for continuous plan improvement for key service issues, forecast error and bias, and share output with appropriate leadership
• Champion the Demand Review Process within the Category/ies
• Drive quality discussion in Assumptions Validation Meeting, Pre-Demand Review and Demand Review, which is in accordance with IBP standards
• Proactively manage aged and potential aged stock to drive and monitor liquidation planned forecast
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:
• 2+ years’ experience in forecast planning or data modeling
• FMCG business acumen
• Able to influence cross-functional teams, working on priorities and improving the plan
• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills and able to understand and interpret data. Major in data science, business analytics, supply chain related courses is a plus
• Knowledge in planning, and End to End supply chain processes.
• Good interpersonal skill to communicate and work together with cross functional stakeholders
